8 Months

Hannah is 8 Months Old!

Milestones at 8 months are:

Cut two more teeth on top (bringing her total to 6 teeth): August 14 

Dropped from 7 feedings to 6 feedings a day: August 25

First road trip (8+ hours to & from Paducah in one day): August 27

Wow! I feel like I just wrote the re-cap for month 7, and here we are at month 8! Time is flying with this little one! Although she spent a good part of this last month constipated, Hannah still had a wonderful month :) She is less and less a little baby: She hardly ever spits up anymore, she nurses speedy fast compared to her hour long marathon sessions when she was a newborn, and she's busy exploring her surroundings- grabbing at everything, putting everything in her mouth, and just figuring out the world around her. 

She loves tummy time on her quilt and can roll over from front to back and back to front effortlessly now. She also seems to enjoy bath time more. She never really seemed to mind it, but now she likes to splash around and chew on her bath toys when she's in the tub. We are easing her into baby food a little slower after all her tummy issues. She gets pears or prunes for dinner every night, and we went back to just milk for all her other feedings. So far that's been working for us.

Hannah has started to show a little bit of her opinionated side in month 8, haha! She has had a few little temper tantrums, especially lately she has decided that she doesn't like to have her diaper changed anymore, and she sure does let you know it. Silly Hannah! 99.9% of the time she's just a perfect angel baby though. She still sleeps like a champ, even after we moved her bedtime up to 8pm. We just love her more and more every day!!
