9 Months!

 

Hannah is 9 Months Old!

Milestones at 9 months are:

Waved for the first time: September 14
Pulled up for the first time: September 27

Well this year is just flying by! I can't believe Hannah is already 9 months old!! She is an absolute delight at this age- happy and content, curious and giggly. Nothing gets her as tickled as when I'm carrying her upstairs and Daddy is a step behind us telling her he's "Gonna get her!" She explodes into baby giggles when he's chasing her, it's the cutest thing.

She had her 9 month check-up at the doctor this week and everything with her is great except she hasn't gained hardly any weight in the last 3 months. The doctor had some extra blood work ordered to make sure it wasn't a thyroid issue or anything else, and everything came back good. So, our mission over the next ten days is to bulk her up as much as we can, and then we have an appointment to take her back for a weigh-in. We are supplementing with some formula now, and she's getting two extra servings of baby food per day, so hopefully that will help her pack on some pounds. Stephen joked that she got a dream diagnosis from the doctor, because who wouldn't want to hear from their doctor that they need to eat MORE?! :)
