Hannah's 1st Christmas (Part 1)

Hannah had a great 1st Christmas! On Christmas Eve Oma and Opa spent the day with us and we went to church together for the Christmas Eve Candlelight service. Hannah made it through about half of the service until she got a little too restless and Stephen took her up to the balcony. She fell asleep in his arms and popped back awake when all the candles were lit and everyone started singing "Silent Night". How sweet!

On Christmas morning she was awesome and let us sleep in until almost 8am!! I know in a year or two this will no longer be the case on Christmas morning ;) We set out her big present from us the night before so it was waiting for her under the tree when we came downstairs. We got her a Zany Zoo wooden activity set, which she just loved! It was so fun to see her so excited :)

The excitement continued at Nana and Grandad's house! Hannah's Aunt Jenni & Uncle Jeremy and cousin Crosley were all there too and so were her great-grandparents. Hannah and Crosley were the center of attention of course and it was so much fun seeing them play with their new toys, which included a ball pit, waffle blocks, bath toys, and their very own plush animal chairs.

Stay tuned for part II of our Christmas celebration this weekend: Summers/Wheeler Family New Year's Sleepover at Oma & Opa's :)
