Hannahisms

Hannah has a few phrases that we hear multiple times a day, that to an outside ear probably don't make much sense. Here are a few of the best "Hannahisms" decoded. :)

CLOCK FALL DOWN!
She points at the grandfather clock in our dining room and says "Clock fall Down!" In her little 'Hickory, Dickory, Dock' video, the hippo goes up the clock at the end, and the clock falls down. I think she wants us to knock our clock down, but since it's a special family heirloom that Stephen's dad and grandfather built, we have turned down her request to throw it over. ;)

JUMP LIKE A MONKEY!
This is from the '5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed' song, but when she says it, she means she wants to jump on her pack n' play mattress. Her "jumping" consists of her just walking and giggling on the mattress.
 

COVER UP WITH BLANKEN
By "blanken" she means "blanket", and by "blanket" she means a yellow floral dinner napkin that she pretends is a blanket and uses it to cover up her Minnie Mouse doll.

READ BOOKS IN THE ROOM
Hannah has tons of books that are all dispersed throughout the house. Some are downstairs in her little play corner, some are in our room, and some are in her room. When she says "Read books in the room" she means she wants to go upstairs to her room and pull all the books off the shelf ;)

WATCH GREEN WHEELS!
She means she wants to watch "Wheels on the Bus" on YouTube. We're in the process of phasing this out because as I've mentioned before, we totally hate these videos.
