She's also started going to "big kid church" with the older kids so she's not in the nursery anymore. It's wonderful because she is really learning some bible stories there. At dinnertime now she likes to pass around one of the apples from our centerpiece and whoever has the apple says a prayer. At church the kids pass around a wooded cross and take turns saying a prayer so that's where she got that from ;) It's precious.
She's come at us with some BIG questions lately about life and death and heaven and such. (Thanks a lot Frozen and Lion King for killing off parents, geeze!) Anyway, the conversations have been just priceless though. She asks things like "Where is heaven?" and "What does it look like?" I asked her what she thought and she said "I think there will be beautiful flowers there."
We have a new routine in the mornings before Stephen goes to work where she just runs back and forth between us giving us hugs. It's the best thing ever. I took some video of it the other day. I wish this phase would just last forever because she is just a total joy. She's the sweetest, most thoughtful kid there ever was! :) :) Love you Hannah bug and we're so proud of you!!

Hannah's first time watching fireflies at night
She is into so much these days, especially if it's of the Disney variety. Here are a few of her favorite things:
1. Frozen Elsa dress: She earned this a few weeks ago when she finally started consistently pooping in the potty. She loves dressing up and dancing around in this dress and pretending like she's Princess Elsa.
2. Magee's Bakery: It's shocking, but Chick-fil-A has been dethroned by this local Lexington bakery that boasts delicious donuts and the best breakfast sandwiches. It's a super fun place with a much more eclectic mix of folks than what you'd see at a Chick-fil-A, and the food really is amazing. Hannah's favorites there are the chocolate covered donuts.
3. Disney Movies: We've expanded her Disney movie library from Frozen to include The Lion King and Toy Story. One of us always has to have the remote ready to skip all the scary parts, which in Frozen is anything with Hans when he's mean, the wolves, and the snow monster, and when the parents die, and in The Lion King anything with Scar on the screen. I love her so much. Girl does not like scary stuff, just like me!
4. Frozen Fever: This is currently the only book we read before bedtime. It's based on a 7 minute short film about Elsa throwing Anna a birthday party. She loves it. Most night she "reads" it to me and just makes up the story.
5. Painting her nails: She loves having her toe nails painted. I let her pick out the colors so she usually has her toes painted in 10 different colors ;)
6. Curious George & Pinkalicious: So I'm a little sad about this one because I absolutely loved her Daniel Tiger phase, but sniff sniff... she's growing up and seems to have left Daniel in the dust :( She's on to more mature shows like Curious George and Pinkalicious, both on heavy rotation on the PBS app on my phone.
7. Scruffy the Unicorn: Stephen brought Hannah this stuffed animal home from a trip he went on to New York a month ago. It's her favorite stuffed animal at the moment and goes with her everywhere. It's name is Scruffy and she constantly corrects me that's it's a "she" not a "he".
8. Ice Pops: She loves these things and especially the ones that make her tongue change colors ;) Best enjoyed pool side!
