Summers Family Beach Week!!

Hannah's 3rd trip to Isle of Palms was the best yet!! For starters it was her first time going without being evacuated because of a hurricane! We made it the entire week and could not have asked for better weather- as the weather app on my phone said "Abundant sunshine". We enjoyed every minute of it by packing in plenty of beach time and pool time every day. We started each day on the balcony watching the sunrise, and Hannah had me rolling one morning as she started singing the opening number to The Lion King as the sun appeared on the horizon. She's hilarious :) She had the best time on the beach playing in the sand, making drip towers, collecting shells, flying her kite, and playing with Nana & Do-Dad. It was such a wonderful week of relaxation and great quality time together.

Part of the fun of going is of course that we get to stop over in Columbia and see all our South Carolina family. Hannah adores her cousins and the three of them are inseparable when they are together. IOP is such a special place for our family-we just love it. 4 years ago we picked it as our Babymoon destination and we've been back with Hannah every year since. It's our little Summers family tradition! :) I can't wait to make more memories there in the years to come.

We built A LOT of drip castles on this beach trip. Hannah even made her own "South Carolina Mountain" which she decorated with shells.
