Hannah's school puts on such a nice event each year in September called "The Grand Event". It's for all the kids and their grandparents. It's outside and they have all kinds of stations set up like a book walk where you can win free books, rock painting, build-your-own stuffed animal (this year it was a puppy in a t-shirt with the school's name on it), and book tasting-where you can sit on a blanket and preview books by certain authors. There's also an ice cream truck, and a school spirit shop and the book fair. There's a reason they invite the grandparents ;) Hannah got all kinds of fun stuff from Nana and Do-Dad like a Harry Potter coloring book, a Princess Pony book with a horseshoe necklace, a t-shirt and a pin of Lucky, the school mascot. She also won two books at the book walk! It was such a beautiful night and we all had a great time.
This year's Grand Event was extra special because Hannah and Do-Dad were photographed by the professional photographer who takes pictures for the school system's social media accounts, and they were featured on the school's facebook page, and on the Woodford County school system facebook and instagram accounts! They're famous!
