Thankful Time!

 

Hannah's had a busy fall leading up to Thanksgiving. A few weeks ago she led her parent/student/teacher conference. At first I thought it was pretty lazy for the 3rd grade teachers not to run the parent-teacher conferences, but I could tell that it was such a good experience for Hannah. She was so professional and well prepared for her presentation. We're so proud of her. Her teacher of course had nothing but wonderful things to say about her- you can read his comments below :)

Throughout October and November, Hannah took an acting class every Saturday morning. The kids wrote their own play about a girl that had a magic pencil and performed it for us during their last class. She had so much fun and we'll definitely sign her up for more theater classes in the future. 

Early in November we met up with the South Carolina cousins for a quick visit at a UK basketball game. Hannah loved it and was probably more energetic and loud cheering than the UK cheerleaders ;) 

Our Thanksgiving was so nice! On Thanksgiving day we went to go see Moana 2 in the IMAX theater. It was great! Then on Friday we we went to Frankfort for the ultimate Thanksgiving feast! Hannah and her cousins decorated the Christmas tree and had a blast together as always. Then to round out the Thanksgiving weekend, we got some snow on Sunday morning! My rose bushes were still blooming up until a day or two before the snow, so our tiny snow-women got rose buds for their arms and rose petals for hair :)
