Hannah had a jam-packed schedule in December with lots of choir performances at school and at church, academic team practices, several snow days, a visit from Oma and Opa, and a trip to the Nutcracker Ballet. In between all of her activities we watched lots of Christmas movies. We had a bucket list and I think there were over 20 movies on it. New movies that she saw this year included Home Alone, and Miracle on 34th Street. She's had a lot of fun participating in the school choir and had performances at a memorial service, at the Versailles tree lighting ceremony, and at the school's Christmas concert. She had a nice visit with Oma and Opa and enjoyed getting a round of presents a week early :)
On Christmas Eve, Hannah read the Christmas story with Stephen at church. Then we had a nice relaxing Christmas Day. She got a lot of fun stuff this year- favorites included wireless headphones, a shower speaker, a 3D-doodle pen, paint markers, and a switch dance game. The day after Christmas we went to Nana & Do-Dad's and Hannah had a wonderful time with her cousins as usual :) They got lots of fun gifts- especially Hannah and Crosley are getting more grown-up things now like Bath & Body Works gift cards and nail polish pens! The rest of our break has been so nice and relaxing. We've gone shopping and out to eat several times and have played lots of Mario Kart and have just enjoyed being together as a family! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!
