Hannah is 2 years and three quarters! She weighs 30 lbs and is growing like crazy! She had a great, fun-filled month. The theme of this month has been PRINCESSES!! She loves dressing up and pretending to be a princess. She's always a princess on a mission though as she acts out scenes from one of her favorite shows "Super Why!", where if you're not familiar, the premise is a group of characters flying into fairy tales to solve problems by reading and spelling. One of the characters is Princess Pea who has the power of spelling, and Hannah always mimics her when she's playing. It's so cute! Her imagination is in full force and it's so much fun playing with her. Yesterday Stephen was sitting at our kitchen table and Hannah played restaurant and pretended to be his server bringing him all kinds of play food from her kitchen in the playroom.
She is so super sweet and loving. I was getting her ready for bed the other night and I told her that I loved her and she put her little hand on my shoulder and looked right at me and said "I love you so much... and...I love your heart." What in the world?! Where did she even hear that? I melted. Then she proceeded to list all the people's hearts she loved which included all her grandparents and Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw and Nana and Do-Dad's dogs Lexi and Gracie, hahaha! She's so sweet.
New this month is she sleeps on a pillow now and no longer fits in her sleep sack so she just sleeps with her Minnie Mouse blanket. She can also climb in and out of her car seat by herself!
Favorites: picking out her jewelry in the mornings, wearing her hair in a pony tail or pig tails, dressing up like a princess, dressing up like a butterfly, coloring, watching the Daniel Tiger Movie over and over again, watching Super Why!, going to Target, Ms. Rebecca and "new Becca" (her teachers at school), getting candy corn pumpkins for sitting on the potty, playing with Lucy Jo, going to Chuy's for dinner dates, Fridays (because Do-Dad picks her up from school), eating "pink ice cream" at Baskin-Robbins, eating sweet potato fries & chicken nuggets, reading her Daniel Tiger and Peppa Pig library books, reading her bible stories before bed- especially Mary & Martha, and Zacchaeus, doing the motions and dancing to "Our God is a Great Big God", playing hide & seek with her Daddy every morning, and playing "baby"
