Hannah surprised me the other day when she reached her little hand into my fall centerpiece of Honeycrisp apples and grabbed one of the apples and just took a big bite out of it!! What in the world?! Since when does she eat apples whole? I have always cut them up for her into slices and peeled the skin off, but she's a big girl y'all and she doesn't need me to cut them up anymore! Anyway, it was just one of those moments where I was like, slow down kid you're growing up too fast.
Last week she also had an "Apple Tasting" day at school where she and her friends got to sample many different apples and then pick their favorites. Her teacher made a little chart to show which apples the kids all liked the best. Hannah's name was in several columns! She told me she liked the red ones, and the green ones and the yellow ones! :) She'll have a blast in a few weeks when we go to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard!
