So here's how it went down- we were eating lunch together and she had just finished her fudge pop and she was a chocolatey mess so I was wiping her mouth, and then her tooth just fell out!! She was SO excited (first picture below is seconds after it came out). We couldn't believe it! Side note- nice little silver lining of being quarantined- I was there when she lost her first tooth :) Otherwise it would have happened at school and I would have missed it. We went about our day- FaceTimed with Nana and Do-Dad, skyped with Oma and Opa to share the news, and then... in a shocking finale to our exciting day... after dinner Hannah lost her other bottom front tooth!!! She now has a huge gap but it's so cute and she looks like such a big kid!
Nana got busy crafting right away and made Hannah a special tooth pouch to leave for the tooth fairy (and Mommy and Daddy frantically googled "tooth fairy going rate for first tooth" - it's $5 by the way.) When it came time to put the tooth pouch under her pillow Hannah got a little spooked, so we left it on her dresser so the tooth fairy wouldn't disturb her while she slept. The next morning she woke up to a cool ten dollars, AND a bracelet, since it was very special to lose two teeth in one day and the tooth fairy was appreciative of saving a trip. I can't believe Hannah has already hit this milestone, sniff sniff. What a big girl!
