The Mack-Wheeler-Summers families were FINALLY reunited after 17 long pandemic months. I'm well acquainted with going years between seeing cousins, but Hannah bug is not and doesn't plan on making it a habit. To say these three were overjoyed to see each other is an understatement. They were so excited they literally started dancing and jumping up and down. It was a wonderful reunion. Since we have "seen" them every night on Skype for the past year there was no need to break the ice, and the three of them ran off in no time playing hide and seek, and pretending to be bunnies hopping around in the back yard at Oma and Opa's house.
We headed to IOP the next day for a super fun beach week with the Summers side of the fam (beach blog post to follow) but on our way back from the beach we stopped in Columbia for an extra day of fun. Hannah, Kate, and Luke played in the sprinkler, went on a nature hike, and upstaged our family photos with silly props. The silly pictures showcase their personalities perfectly! :) Already can't wait to get these kids together again soon. Cousins are the best! :)
So glad y'all were able to stop and see everyone. Kate and Luke were so excited about your visit and Kate absolutely loves her fingernails.
