What a wonderful week we had at our favorite vacation destination in Isle of Palms!! Stephen's parents put us up in a super nice ocean front house that was plenty big for all ten of us. Hannah had the time of her life playing with her cousins all week at the beach. We built sand castles and drip tower kingdoms that basically turned into tourist attractions on the beach- we had all kinds of people admire our work and even take pictures! Crosley and Hannah played restaurant and made sand pies and soup and pretended to be servers getting our orders wrong. They buried Do-Dad's chair in the sand and they pretended to be witches flying around on broomsticks (sticks washed up on the beach). They played hard every day. There was also sand hop-scotch, a sand race track and baseball diamond and bocce ball. We Summerses know how to do the beach :) We collected a ton of shells and Hannah and I discovered a tide pool one afternoon that was full of conch shells. We only had one rainy day and the rest of the week was great- although after the rainy day it cooled down quite a bit. It was so nice to be away and I loved that Hannah got so much quality time with her entire family. So many fun memories! It was a wonderful refreshing week!! Now we're home and excited to kick off the summer at the Summers Swim Club this weekend!!
