Hannah finished off her summer break with a performance at Creative Beginnings (the summer camp she went to for a few weeks this summer). She had so much fun there because she was with all her old friends from her daycare days. Then on the day before school started she had a Daddy-Daughter day where they went bowling, to paint pottery, and to Build-a-Bear. What a fun way to end the summer break!! She's had a great start to 1st grade- She really likes her teacher and has several kids from her kindergarten class in her 1st grade class. The first 2 Mondays back were rough and started with tears in the morning (but come on- who doesn't feel like crying sometimes on a Monday morning after a super fun weekend at the pool?) She's totally adjusted now and SO happy every morning to start her day. We participated in the 1 mile color fun run again this year and Hannah did the whole thing! I was really proud of her. Hope you have a wonderful 1st grade year Hannah bug! Can't wait to see everything you learn this year!!
