19 Months

Hannah is 19 months old! Last time she'll be in the "teens" until she's 13 years old, haha! Her 18 month check up went great a few weeks ago. Here are her stats: Weight-22 lbs 12 oz (52%) | Height-31 inches (23%) | Head Circumference-48cm (89%). That big head of hers is why she's so super smart ;)

Month 19 was big for Miss Hannah Bug. She finally, finally really took off walking. As much as I have been wanting her to walk, I hated it at first! It's very weird to see your baby all of a sudden standing upright and walking. She's so cute toddling around though on what she calls her "walking feet".

Hannah is a little chatterbox and it's so fun that we can have little conversations with her now. She's putting more and more words together in short sentences, like "Put it right there", "Mommy count butterflies", "Daddy go to work", and "Hannah push the buttons". She is learning so much at daycare, and can correctly identify her colors, she knows shapes (her favorites are ovals and diamonds, haha! whenever we color with her that's what she always wants us to draw), she can count to 10, and she knows most of the ABC song.

At 19 months she has of course developed her own opinions on things and she also has a bit of a short temper sometimes. We've had to fuss at her some, especially when she's in her high chair and starts throwing things :( She's got a mind of her own!  Usually she's super sweet though. The best moments are when she throws her little arms around my neck and says "Mommy Hug!" and then she'll stick her little face right up in my face and say "Mommy Kiss!". She's the best!

Favorites this month include: coloring with her chunky crayons, playing in her baby pool, going to the park, opening up the kitchen cabinet and pulling out all the cups, pushing all the buttons on the old stereo in the office or on the DVD player in our bedroom, reading books, listening to 'Wheels on the Bus', eating strawberries, and going to Babies R Us. We love you Hannah bug!!
