More Fall Fun!

Hannah is loving the fall! Yesterday the weather was a little bit warmer so we spent the evening outside playing with sidewalk chalk and picking up leaves in the yard. She's so funny- every time she picks up a red leaf she turns it over to the back and says "It's PINK!" because the back is a little lighter than the front.

The leaves are at their peak bright colors right now in Kentucky and our yard looks so pretty with our huge tree all yellow and our little maple tree, bright red and orange. Stephen planted the little "Autumn Blaze" maple tree we affectionately refer to just as "Maple" in the spring of 2012, just a few months after we moved into our house. It's our special tree that has come to serve as kind of a time marker for us. Six years later that little tree has really grown with us! We've taken really good care of it- even cousin Kate helped water it back in 2014 :) This fall "Maple" has been the prettiest yet! Who knew 6 years ago that the little stick we planted in the ground would turn into such a pretty tree with "pink" leaves that our little girl would run around and collect!! :)
