16 Months

Hannah is 16 months old!
This last month with her has just flown by! Month 16 was marked with some change for Hannah as we started her at a daycare after being with a babysitter for the past year. It's been a tough transition for all of us but Hannah is real brave and slowly getting used to her new routine. She's gone down to only one nap a day at daycare, so we've had a few temper tantrums to deal with in the evenings. Otherwise she's super sweet :) Poor Hannah has also been sick a lot this past month- a few weeks ago with an ear infection, and then over the past few days she's battled yet another bad cold with a fever, which we found out today has turned into another ear infection. Poor poor Hannah bug :( Hopefully these stronger antibiotics she's on now will knock out the infection once and for all. I absolutely hate it when she's sick.

Hannah's vocabulary continues to grow and it's so fun that she can communicate so well with us, although it feels at times that the word we hear the most from her is "No" ;) Other favorite commands we hear a lot from her are "UP" when she wants to be picked up, and "ALL DONE" when she's done eating and wants out of her high chair. Most impressive new words in her vocabulary: UMBRELLA ("brella") and CATERPILLAR ("pillar").

She's made some progress on the walking front and can cruise around with her walker with no problems. She's getting there! Favorite toys at the moment are bubbles and blocks. Favorite books are- seriously ALL of them... since she's been so sick, she just snuggles and wants to be read to. I think Stephen and I have them all memorized. Love you Hannah bug!! :)
